| Summary, etc. | Pierre-Henri Teitgen a été Professeur à la Faculté de droit de Nancy de 1934 à 1943. Il doit être considéré comme un « grand » Professeur de cette Faculté dans la mesure où il a contribué à son rayonnement intellectuel. Sur le plan interne, celui-ci a été plusieurs fois député et ministre et à ce titre, a été impliqué dans la rédaction de textes législatifs importants. Sur le plan européen, son influence est immense : d’un côté, il est l’un des rédacteurs de la Convention européenne des droits de l’homme ; de l’autre, il est l’un des pères fondateurs du droit communautaire. Au regard de ces éléments, on ne peut que regretter qu’il n’ait pas eu de la part de la Faculté de droit de Nancy la reconnaissance qu’il mérite. |

| Summary, etc. | Pierre-Henri Teitgen has been professor at Nancy Faculty of Law from 1934 to 1943. He has to be considered as a « High » Academic of the Faculty thanks to his intellectual influence. In France, he has been several times Member of Parliament but also Minister, what allowed him to be involved in the wording of very important laws. At a European level, his influence has been huge: he is one of the writer of the European Convention for Human Rights and he is the founding father of the European law. Given this background, one can regret he had not the recognition he deserves from Nancy Faculty of Law. |
