Summary, etc. | Résumé Le présent article a pour contexte l’intégration européenne et examine le sentiment de justice de 64 managers français et de 61 managers roumains travaillant dans le secteur de l’énergie et confrontés aux décisions d’ouvrir le marché à la concurrence prises au niveau européen et relayées par les hauts responsables de leurs entreprises. La littérature scientifique dans le champ de la justice procédurale montre qu’une décision est considérée comme juste quand on a eu la possibilité d’exprimer son point de vue (« effet voix ») par rapport à la décision. Des recherches relevant de la négociation intégrative mettent l’accent sur le sentiment de voir les intérêts de tous les partenaires pris en compte. Les résultats montrent d’une part la difficulté d’un management participatif en France et un sentiment de justice d’autant plus bas que prévaut l’impression que les intérêts des personnels ne sont pas pris en compte. Ils montrent d’autre part l’importance de la participation et de la prise en compte des intérêts des personnels pour les managers roumains. |

Summary, etc. | The context of the present paper is the European integration in the energy sector and the opening of the market to competition. A questionnaire study examined the fairness judgements expressed by 64 French and 61 Rumanian managers working in the energy sector undergoing structural changes decided on a European and top management level. Research on procedural justice has shown a strong “voice” effect on fairness judgements, which refers to procedures that allow people concerned with a decision to be decided by a higher authority a chance to express themselves. On the other hand, research on integrative negotiation has shown the impact of the feeling that the interest of all partners is respected. This last factor, usually not explored in procedural justice research, was most decisive for the fairness judgements of the French managers and explained almost half of the variance. The Rumanian managers estimated that the two aspects counted: to have a voice as well as the feeling of respect for the interest of the personnel. |
