| Summary, etc. | Résumé Une privatisation constitue un bouleversement majeur dans une société comme la nôtre. Elle s’impose dans l’imaginaire social avec une force particulière, comme un phénomène signifiant et emblématique à plus d’un titre des mutations qui touchent actuellement la vie économique et sociale. Les hypothèses sur lesquelles nous nous fondons pour rendre compte de ces conséquences sociologiques reposent, d’une part, sur l’idée que toute requalification d’un ordre de grandeur participe également d’un processus de crise et de disqualification dont, d’autre part, les travailleurs et collectifs peu qualifiés peuvent constituer de bons analyseurs. À travers l’exploration d’une étude prolongée au sein d’une entreprise publique belge privatisée, nous nous attacherons, dans un premier temps, à montrer comment cette mutation sociale et organisationnelle s’impose effectivement à cette population comme un espace en recomposition radicale (un espace en rupture) dessinant un « avant » et un « après » en discontinuité forte et comment ce changement des règles du jeu a été la cause de l’irruption d’une crise. Nous nous pencherons, dans un second temps, sur les enjeux et dynamiques subjectives (ou existentielles) qui mobilisent ces sujets confrontés à ce changement crisique au dépassement de celui-ci. Nous proposerons ainsi une modélisation des appuis et composantes psychosociales d’un processus de changement personnel visant à rendre compte des « destins » possibles de la crise en l’appliquant à ce cas particulier. |

| Summary, etc. | Privatization represents a major change in a society such as ours. This process strongly inscribes itself in the social imagination as a meaningful and emblematic phenomenon of changes in economic and social life. Our hypotheses for describing and understanding these sociological consequences are based, on the one hand, the idea that all change in the “order of magnitude” also take part of a disqualification process and, on the other hand, workers and low-qualified collectivities could be considered as good analysers of this process. Thanks to a study conducted in a privatized Belgian public company, we shall first show how this social and organizational mutation effects these people as a « ruptured space » and how this change in rules could lead to a crisis. Secondly, we will focus on the stakes and subjective (or existential) dynamics which affect the people confronted by this radical change. Finally, based on this particular case, we will propose a framework for modeling the supports and psycho-sociological components of a personal change process, in order to define potential future beyond the crisis. |
