L’imposture de l’évaluation, c’est qu’au nom d’une légitimité pseudo-scientifique, pseudo-technique et pseudo-comptable, elle nous impose de ne pas réfléchir à ce que nous faisons. L’évaluation est devenue aujourd’hui cette matrice de gouvernement qui conduit les individus à une servitude volontaire, au nom, soi-disant, d’une logique comptable, d’un réalisme, d’un pragmatisme. La crise que nous vivons n’est pas seulement une crise financière, une crise économique, une crise politique, c’est aussi une crise des valeurs, de civilisation, de culture. La démocratie doit se refonder en refusant la servitude volontaire de cette civilisation de l’évaluation. |

| Summary, etc. | The great imposture ?The concept of evaluation has now been emptied of any ethical or anthropological substance. The imposture of evaluation lies in a pseudo-scientific, pseudo-technical and pseudo-accountable legitimacy, through which it imposes upon us not to think about what we do. Evaluation has become, today, a governmental strategy that drives individuals into voluntary servitude in the name of the so-called logic of fiscal common sense, of realism and pragmatism. The crisis we are encountering is not just a financial one, nor an economic and political one, it is also a crisis of values, of civilisation, and of culture. Democracy must redefine itself by refusing the volontary servitude of this culture of evaluation. |
