| Summary, etc. | L’approche freudienne de la différence sexuelle s’effectue en obéissant à deux logiques distinctes ; l’une d’elles, celle qui met en avant le décret de l’anatomie, postule une vision essentialiste. Il en va tout autrement lorsque, dans L’homme Moïse, Freud présente la préférence pour le père en tant qu’assimilé au pouvoir de l’« esprit », comme dérivant d’une « décision » inscrivant un « tournant » dans le devenir historique. Dans la seconde perspective, chacun des sexes peut être envisagé comme redessiné par les versions culturelles qu’offre la succession des civilisations. Versions qui vont imposer à chaque sexe soit des promotions, soit des mutilations symboliques qui affecteront, de manière différente, le féminin comme le masculin. |

The Freudian conception of sex distinction is done according to two distinct logics ; one of them put forwards the decree of anatomy, on the assumption of a basic view. It is quite different when, in “Moses and Monotheism”, Freud describes the preference given to the father as a power of the “mind”, coming from a “decision” written down as a “turn” in the historical future. In the second prospect, each sex can be considered as drawn by the cultural version given by succeeding civilisations. Those versions will impose on each sex as well promotions than symbolic mutilations, affecting in a different way female as male. |
