Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | In an era of quantification of the mind and of physicalisation of psychic facts the cognitive sciences have the ambition to develop a new scientific theory which would make null and void on the one hand, the psychiatric knowledge and on the other hand the way of teaching the Freudian psychoanalysis. By studying works that are representative of the cognitive program applied to psychosis, we will show that this program refers to only one psychosis, schizophrenia, putting aside the other psychoses. Seeing that, psychosis would arise from a alteration of a specific cognitive function : the one that activate and plan the actions. We bring into question this explanation. Not a new paradigm, this “mental causality” brings together the mechanicism and organicism psychiatric theories. Moreover, confronted with clinical, that cognitive hypothesis reveal some paradoxes who are debated in the mind-sciences itself. They concern brain-mind and computer-brain identity. There are holes in the cognitive explanation. We insist those gaps are a rest, the mark of the Freudian unconscious. It creates a “field of symptoms” (Lacan) and also a new causality : the libido. So psychosis is a peculiar subjective position, in which the subject tries to connect his enjoyment being in its link with language and speech. Seeing that, the delusion of the psychotic is not an epiphenomenon but an auto therapeutic creation. The analytic setting can help him to grasp this real. |
