| Summary, etc. | Cultural Institutions currently often offer virtual tours of their collection on their web sites. These presentations rely on spatial metaphors and simulated moves, conceived to make the visitors feel as if that they are actually browsing this hence scenographed and textualised archive. The analysis of proposals issued by several museums leads us to reconsider the link between place identification and sense making. Then, considering the intellectual and technical choices on which these sites are built, we show that they emanate from persons which are not necessarily those in charge when in situ visit organization are concerned. This might change the way the collections are actually presented and represented. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenEn recorridos como las llamadas visitas virtuales, las instituciones culturales suelen proponerle a sus visitantes una visualización de las obras que detienen por medio de sus sitios Web. Dichas presentaciones juegan con la relación al espacio y al desplazamiento para permitirle al visitante (h)ojear las colecciones, así puestas en escena y dispuestas como textos. El análisis de algunas de esas propuestas permite un replanteamiento de las relaciones entre atribución de sentido y práctica efectiva o simbólica de un lugar. Asimismo, se puede mostrar que la organización intelectual y técnica de dichas visitas se basa en una textualización de prácticas y de saberes de diversos actores que no son necesariamente aquellos que conciben las visitas in situ, lo cual orienta la manera de presentar las colecciones. |
