| Summary, etc. | La prescription est devenue un processus nécessaire pour s'y retrouver au milieu de la quantité de documents patrimoniaux désormais numérisés et disponibles en ligne – une offre babélique. Prescrire, pour les bibliothèques de recherche, c'est choisir en amont ce qui doit ou non être numérisé, puis distinguer en aval ce qui doit être mis en avant. Les bibliothèques prescrivent du contenu patrimonial sur leurs propres sites, sur des blogs et sur les réseaux sociaux : elles utilisent les mêmes outils que leurs usagers. Ceux-là, désormais prescripteurs, complètent et réévaluent l'action des grandes instances patrimoniales. Les frontières traditionnelles s'effacent et la prescription patrimoniale s'apparente à un processus horizontal qui participe tout autant à une redéfinition de l'identité des bibliothèques de recherche qu'à une transformation de la pratique des chercheurs. |

| Summary, etc. | The amount of digital versions of heritage documents now available online, almost makes the dream of a Library of Babel come true, and has stressed the need for recommendations. The recommendations could come from the leading actors of the heritage digitisation or from their users. In order to recommend contents, the research libraries have to identify what needs to be digitized upstream and what needs to be highlighted downstream. Digital research libraries are recommending heritage content on their own websites, on blogs, and on social networks. They communicate with the same tools as their users; and those are now prescribers: they complement and re-evaluate the digitisation policies of the main cultural heritage authorities. The traditional boundaries are blurring; and the heritage recommendation looks like a collaborative horizontal process which is reassessing the role of the research libraries and is changing the practices of researchers. |

| Summary, etc. | La cantidad de versiones digitales de documentos patrimonializados disponibles en línea casi que realiza el sueño de una biblioteca de Babel y acentúa la necesidad de recomendaciones. Dichas recomendaciones pueden venir de los actores que lideran la digitalización del patrimonio o de sus usuarios. Para recomendar contenidos, las bibliotecas de investigación deben identificar las necesidades sobre lo que se debe o no digitalizar y luego escoger lo que se debe destacar. Las bibliotecas prescriben un contenido patrimonial en sus propios sitios Web, en blogs y redes sociales, utilizando así las mismas herramientas que sus usuarios. Éstos, ahora ratificados como prescriptores, completan y reevalúan la acción de las grandes instancias patrimoniales. Las fronteras tradicionales se borran y la prescripción patrimonial se asemeja a un proceso horizontal que redefine la identidad de las bibliotecas de investigación y transforma las prácticas de los investigadores. |
