À travers lui, la firme cultive son emprise sur les savoirs, les compétences et les valeurs qui circulent dans des contextes socio-organisationnels très divers et contribue à la reconfiguration progressive des paysages experts et profanes du monde de la communication.

The socio-semiotic analysis demonstrates a sophisticated program including training, evaluation and certification, which goes far beyond the primary goal of facilitating the use of a software. Not only is the firm slowly tightening its grip on skills, knowledge, norms and values in the communications sector, but it is also facilitating their diffusion in a wide variety of social and organisational contexts, consistently blurring the boundaries between experts and lay people, professionals and amateurs.

Summary, etc. En este artículo se presenta el análisis de uno de los componentes fundamentales del dispositivo con el que Google acompaña la evolución de las prácticas profesionales de la comunicación: el tutorial. El estudio socio-semiótico de “academias” diseñadas para facilitar el uso e integración de su software (Analytics, AdWords, YouTube...) revela un sofisticado sistema de formación, evaluación y certificación de las competencias. A través de él, Google aumenta su control sobre los conocimientos, las habilidades y los valores que circulan en diversos contextos sociales y organizacionales y contribuye a la difuminación gradual de las líneas entre aficionados y expertos.
