The socio-semiotic analysis demonstrates a sophisticated program including training, evaluation and certification, which goes far beyond the primary goal of facilitating the use of a software. Not only is the firm slowly tightening its grip on skills, knowledge, norms and values in the communications sector, but it is also facilitating their diffusion in a wide variety of social and organisational contexts, consistently blurring the boundaries between experts and lay people, professionals and amateurs. |

Summary, etc. | En este artículo se presenta el análisis de uno de los componentes fundamentales del dispositivo con el que Google acompaña la evolución de las prácticas profesionales de la comunicación: el tutorial. El estudio socio-semiótico de “academias” diseñadas para facilitar el uso e integración de su software (Analytics, AdWords, YouTube...) revela un sofisticado sistema de formación, evaluación y certificación de las competencias. A través de él, Google aumenta su control sobre los conocimientos, las habilidades y los valores que circulan en diversos contextos sociales y organizacionales y contribuye a la difuminación gradual de las líneas entre aficionados y expertos. |
