Summary, etc. | Cet article examine les enjeux de la « culture physique » selon plusieurs angles, individuel et collectif. Du point de vue individuel, soit les pulsions libidinales et les pulsions de mort peuvent se « désintriquer » et le sujet en retire un véritable bénéfice de plaisir corporel ; soit l’activité de désintrication pulsionnelle n’est pas possible et cette activité se met alors au service de l’édification d’un barrage aux pulsions de mort, comme cuirasse défensive qui se lézarde aussitôt, en même temps que s’en affirme le caractère répétitif et sadomasochiste.D’un point de vue collectif, la répression des pulsions érotiques nécessitée par le maintien de la culture se soutient de structures d’accueil qui encadrent certains modes d’investissement ou de résolution des conflits. Ce qui origine en réalité cette répression est le souci de rendement qu’accompagne une morale de l’effort justifiant la souffrance : le sujet sportif qui s’inscrit dans un type de production et d’échange répète très exactement ce qui se passe dans le domaine de la production économique. Au bénéfice de qui va ce « manque à jouir » ? Qui profite de la « plus-value du plaisir » ? L’auteur en appelle à la réflexivité de l’éducateur face à sa pratique et à ses institutions. |

Summary, etc. | This article examines the issues of “physical instruction” from several angles, both individual and collective. From an individual point of view, either the libidinal impulses and the death drives can “split” and the subject receives the benefit of real bodily pleasure ; or the activity of splitting drives is not possible and this activity is then used to build a barrier against death drives, like a defensive armor that is soon to be cracked open, at the same time as the repetitive and sado-masochistic character asserts itself.From a collective point of view, the repression of erotic impulses necessary to maintain culture is supported by “reception structures” that host certain ways of investment or conflict resolution. The real reason for this repression is the will of efficiency that accompanies the ethics of effort justifying suffering: the sporting subject, who represents a way of production and exchange, repeats exactly what happens in the field of economic production. For whose benefit is this lack of enjoyment? Who benefits from the “added value” of pleasure? The author advocates the reflexive action of educators vis-à-vis their practice and their institutions. |
