| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | A subject with a mental disability has a deficiency that calls for the primary environment and professionals of educational support to attend to the subject’s body, which is taken for the subject itself. Care is provided to him, in the mode of first aid that the mother administers to the infans. This intimate relationship to the body of the mentally disabled subject places the encounter under the sign of the incestual. Rather than an “ en-moins,” the “I” is the bearer of an “ en-plus,” expressed in the requirement of an overflowing instinctual activity to the detriment of an erogenous organization of the impulse. We examine an institutional situation in a care home where the instinctual impulse infiltrates subject–professional links through incestual dynamics. The opportunity arose from a team of educators during a time when the author worked as a psychologist in a joint-working clinical project. The subject is confronted with the deadly effects of the instinctual that the educational act unintentionally reactualizes. |
