| Summary, etc. | L’attaque du Hamas sur Israël le 7 octobre, suivie de l’attaque israélienne en cours dans la bande de Gaza, ont profondément altéré la réalité dans cette région de manière irréversible. Au cœur de ce tournant, la société israélienne observe les divisions internes à ses structures et à son opinion publique s’accroître, marquées par une crise politique longue de plusieurs années et particulièrement relancée depuis l’installation du gouvernement actuel dirigé par Netanyahou – qui réalise actuellement son sixième mandat. C’est dans cette période d’incertitude que certains acteurs israéliens saisissent l’occasion pour promouvoir leurs projets nationalistes et d’annexion de la Palestine ainsi que leur volonté d’exclure davantage les citoyens palestiniens de l’État en tant que membres légitimes de la société. Cet article examinera l’état de la société israélienne depuis le 7 octobre, tout en mettant en lumière ces processus de radicalisation de la société et de ses dirigeants et en exposant leurs racines. |

| Summary, etc. | The Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th, followed by the current Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip, have profoundly and irreversibly altered the reality in this region. At the heart of this turning point, Israeli society has seen the internal divisions within its structures and its public opinion increase, marked by a political crisis that has lasted for several years and has been particularly rekindled since the installation of the current government led by Netanyahu –who is currently serving his sixth term. It is in this period of uncertainty that certain Israeli actors are seizing the opportunity to promote their nationalist and annexationist plans for Palestine and their desire to further exclude Palestinian citizens from the State as legitimate members of society. This article will examine the state of Israeli society since October 7th, highlighting these processes of radicalisation of society and its leaders and exposing their roots. |
