| Summary, etc. | Dans le cadre d’une thèse de doctorat actuellement en cours, l’auteure a reçu 51 étudiants de classes préparatoires scientifiques, littéraires et commerciales en France dans le cadre d’ entretiens de recherche couplés à la passation d’épreuves projectives. Dans cet article, elle analyse dans une perspective psychodynamique les risques encourus par la subjectivité dans ce type de cursus exigeant mais aussi très valorisés socialement. Dans la lutte contre la souffrance engendrée par les contraintes de ces parcours, le corps est convoqué au premier plan. |

| Summary, etc. | Work, Body and Defences in the Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles. As part of her doctoral research, the author of this paper interviewed 51 students in literary, scientific and business Classes Préparatoires, i.e. undergraduate students undergoing intensive training for the competitive exams which allow admission to one of France’s prestigious Grandes Ecoles. Projective tests were also carried out with the students. This provides the basis for a psychodynamic analysis of the stakes at play for the subjectivity of those enrolled on such extremely demanding, but also highly regarded, preparatory courses. In the struggle against the suffering engendered by the constraints of such programmes, the body is in the frontline. |
