| Summary, etc. | L’expérience empirique de la survie du virus à l’intérieur du corps est inséparable de ses effets sur l’esprit. Je sens une urgence d’écrire comment ces effets fonctionnent en moi ; en même temps c’est ma énième tentative de l’écrire, et je sens à chaque fois que je relis ces lignes, qu’elles semblent trop rhapsodiques et fragmentaires, donc cela représente ma dernière tentative. Je m’excuse auprès du lecteur pour mon incapacité à être exhaustif et clair sur mes pensées et mes sentiments. Je suppose que cela découle de l’intensité de l’expérience.Les pensées et les affects se chevauchent et cet essai est un mélange des deux, le texte a l’apparence de variations d’écriture : la première partie étant plus conceptuelle et le deuxième plus littéraire, en partie avec le style de flux de la conscience. |

| Summary, etc. | The empirical experience of surviving the virus inside the body is inseparable from its effects on the mind. I feel an urgency to write how these effects are working inside of me; at the same time this is my umpteenth attempt at writing it out, and I feel each time that I re-read these lines, that they appear too rhapsodic and fragmentary, so this represents my final attempt. I apologize to the reader for my inability to be exhaustive and clear about my thoughts and feelings. I suppose it derives from the intensity of the experience.Thoughts and affects are overlapping and this essay is a mixture of the two, and the text has the appearance of variations of writing: the first part being more conceptual and the second more literary, partly with the style of stream of consciousness. |
