| Summary, etc. | RésuméCette étude s’intéresse à l’évolution de l’anxiété maternelle en période périnatale, au dépistage de ses différentes formes et aux difficultés psychosociales qui y contribuent. Les objectifs de la recherche se situent à deux niveaux, un premier visant à vérifier la pertinence d’une mesure d’anxiété spécifique à la maternité et un second cherchant à déterminer la contribution de l’anxiété prénatale à la variance de l’anxiété postnatale.La discontinuité de l’anxiété est soulignée et les résultats divergents obtenus sont discutés. Des recommandations sont formulées quant à la nécessité de procéder à une évaluation prolongée des symptômes anxieux spécifiques aux différents types d’anxiété. |

| Summary, etc. | This study investigates the evolution of maternal anxiety during the perinatal stage and attempts to distinguish its different components. The objective of this research is twofold. In a first instance, the measure of maternity-specific anxiety is verified for pertinence. Secondly, we examine the effect of prenatal anxiety on the variance of postnatal anxiety.This discontinuity in pre- and post-partum anxiety is outlined and the divergent findings according to our measuring instruments are also discussed. Finally, recommendations are formulated and acknowledge the need to proceed with a longitudinal evaluation of anxious symptoms specific to various types of anxiety. |
