Summary, etc. | Cette étude mesure l’impact d’un dispositif d’aide au développement du langage appliqué en multi-accueils (MAPE) sur l’acquisition de compétences langagières des enfants de plus de 20 mois. 181 enfants issus de 4 MAPE qui participent au dispositif et 113 enfants accueillis dans 4 MAPE non impliqués dans celui-ci ont été comparés à l’aide de mesures directes et indirectes de leur langage en début et fin d’année de MAPE. Les résultats concluent que le dispositif n’a pas permis d’améliorer significativement les compétences langagières. Plusieurs interprétations sont proposées, certaines tenant aux pratiques des professionnels, d’autres aux enfants et à leur développement. |

Summary, etc. | This study measured the impact of a program design to support language in day-care on the acquisition of the language skills of children aged over 20 months. 181 children from 4 day-care took part in the program and 113 children in 4 day-care were not implied in this one were compared using several direct and indirect language measures in their last year of day-care (beginning and end of the year). The results concluded that the program did not improve significantly the language skills. Several interpretations are proposed including the professional practices and the children’s development. |
