| Summary, etc. | La τρυϕή est une pratique culturelle et cultuelle bien attestée dans les sources anciennes (grecques et romaines). Toutefois, la τρυϕή lagide présente des caractéristiques, très tôt définies, qui lui sont propres avec une base purement grecque et des ajouts orientaux. Elle ne peut être liée à l’ensemble des souverains lagides du fait de lacunes dans la documentation pour certains règnes. Dans cet article, il s’agira de mettre en lumière le décalage entre la manière dont les Lagides se présentaient en vertu de leur τρυϕή et la conception que pouvait se faire un témoin non averti (majoritaire dans les sources), afin de comprendre les spécificités de la τρυϕή lagide. |
