| Summary, etc. | L’article analysera la figure du héros tragique comme métaphore du citoyen athénien face au problème de la décision. Tout d’abord, seront étudiées les conditions de la représentation théâtrale et sa capacité à produire une idée de la démocratie. Deuxièmement, en faisant appel à des notions de subjectivation et dé-subjectivation, les figures du Pélasge d’Eschyle et du Philoctète de Sophocle seront examinées afin de comprendre comment la tragédie représente la situation de l’agent face à la décision. Enfin, seront indiquées les relations possibles de chaque tragédie avec leur contexte d’énonciation et pourquoi ces figures héroïques apparaissent comme parfaitement opposées l’une à l’autre sur la question de la prise d’une décision. |

| Summary, etc. | “Tragic hero, the waving sea, and insularity” The article analyzes the character of the tragic hero as a metaphor for the Athenian citizen before the decision problem. It first studies the conditions of theatrical performance and its capacity to produce a concept of democracy. Second, using the notions of subjectivation and desubjectivation, the figures of Aeschylus’s Pelasgos and Sophocles’s Philoctetes are examined to understand how tragedy interprets the situation of the agent facing decision. Finally, the possible relations with the context of enunciation of each tragedy and why these heroic figures appear to be perfectly opposite each other on the issue of a decision-making process are considered. |

En primer lugar, se estudian las condiciones de la representación teatral y su capacidad para producir un pensamiento de la democracia. En segundo lugar, apelando a las nociones de subjetivación y desubjetivación, se examina las figuras de Pelasgo de Esquilo y de Filoctetes de Sófocles para comprender la manera en que la tragedia piensa la situación del agente ante la decisión. Finalmente, se indican las posibles relaciones con el contexto de enunciación de cada tragedia y el motivo por el cual estas figuras heroicas presentan perspectivas tan perfectamente opuestas ante la toma de una decisión. |
