| Summary, etc. | RésuméDans l’étude de la tyrannie des Pisistratides, l’attention des historiens, en partie en raison des sources sur lesquelles ils ont travaillé, s’est toujours concentrée sur les hommes et leur rôle dans les événements qui se sont déroulés à Athènes entre 560 et 510. Dans le présent article, nous abordons les actions des femmes à la fois sur le plan historique et historiographique. Leur présence dans les sources, notamment grecques et romaines, ainsi que dans l’épigraphie, reflète paradoxalement leur importance capitale dans l’évolution de la tyrannie des Pisistratides. Plus précisément, nous avons trouvé huit femmes qui, d’une manière ou d’une autre, avec une participation active ou passive, ont maintenu ou rendu difficile la légitimation du régime. L’analyse du rôle joué par les femmes conduit à des conclusions qui, une fois de plus, illustrent l’importance du révisionnisme de genre pour une approche correcte des sociétés anciennes. |

| Summary, etc. | In the study of the tyranny of the Peisistratids, the attention of historians, partly as a result of the sources they have worked on, has always been focused on men and their role in the events that happened in Athens between 560 and 510. In the present article we address the actions of women both on a historical and historiographical level. Their presence in the sources, especially Greek and Roman, as well as in the epigraphy, paradoxically reflect their capital importance in the evolution of the tyranny of the Peisistratids. More precisely, we have found eight women who, in one way or another, with both active and passive participation, maintained or made difficult the legitimization of the regime. The analysis of the role played by women leads to conclusions that, once again, illustrate the importance of gender revisionism for a correct approach to ancient societies. |

| Summary, etc. | En el estudio de la tiranía de los Pisistrátidas la atención de los historiadores, en parte como consecuencia de las fuentes que han trabajado, se ha focalizado siempre en los hombres y su papel en los acontecimientos desarrollados en Atenas entre 560 y 510. En el presente artículo abordamos la actuación de las mujeres tanto a nivel histórico como historiográfico. Su presencia en las fuentes literarias, especialmente griegas y romanas, así como en la epigrafía, refleja paradójicamente su importancia capital en la evolución de la tiranía de los Pisistrátidas. En concreto hemos encontrado a ocho mujeres que, de una manera u otra, ya sea con una participación activa o pasiva, mantuvieron o dificultaron la legitimación del régimen. El análisis del papel jugado por estas mujeres arroja conclusiones que ejemplifican, una vez más, la importancia del revisionismo con enfoque de género para una correcta aproximación a las sociedades antiguas. |
