520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to bring light on the development of attachment representations in adulthood, and more specifically, within love relationships. We especially examined the influence of internal working models ( IWM ) and defensive exclusion on the quality of attachment representations regarding the partner. It appears that within couples composed of one secure and one insecure person, it is the secure person who is most likely to revise his/her IWM by developing attachment representations similar to those of his/her partner. These findings tend to confirm the theory of defensive exclusion as an obstacle to change. |
