| Summary, etc. | L’objet de cet article est de montrer les représentations sociales de la famille iranienne ainsi que leurs transformations à la suite de changements culturels. À partir des entretiens menés avec des femmes iraniennes en couple mixte ou non mixte, j’ai mis en évidence les spécificités culturelles de la famille et les transformations qu’engendra l’immigration. La comparaison des discours des femmes en couple mixte et de celles en couple non mixte permet de mettre en valeur les différents niveaux de changements, selon leur importance. |

| Summary, etc. | REPRESENTATIONS OF THE FAMILY IN THE MINDS OF IRANIAN WOMEN FROM MIXED AND NON MIXED COUPES The goal of this article is to show a study into the social representations of the Iranian family and its transformation under the effects of cultural change. The cultural representations of the Iranian family and their transformation, as caused by immigration are stressed. The information is based on analysis of interviews with Iranian women living in mixed and non-mixed families. Comparing the narratives of these two groups underscores their relative levels of change. |
