L’analyse proposée pour en rendre compte porte sur les livres à destination d’enfants âgés de 3 à 12 ans publiés en France au cours des années 2008 et 2009 dans lesquels un des personnages principaux est un senior grand-parent situé dans le réseau familial de l’enfant héros. Le corpus est composé de publications récentes mais ses caractéristiques sont analysées au regard de données issues de travaux personnels que nous avons pu conduire par le passé sur certaines des thématiques abordées. |

| Summary, etc. | GROWING OLD IN THE FAMILY : THE GRANNIES AND GRANDDADS IN CHILDREN’S LITERATURE What are the representations of ageing, old people and intergenerational family relations in today’s children’s literature ? To answer this question, we base our analysis on books for children aged 3 to 12 published in France in 2008 and 2009 in which one of the main characters is a senior grand-parent related to the child hero of the story. The corpus is composed of recent publications but their features are analysed with regard to data from previous personal studies we have conducted on some of the approached topics. |
