Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Contemporary clinical care confronts psychological problems that are exported and staged against a backdrop outside the walls of the institution. The social realm, the first custodian, provides an elective surface for the projection of such problems, working towards representation. The subjects’ psychological suffering addresses the other, and more than the other with, as its objective, a subjective reclamation of what had hitherto remained unworkable, enigmatic and senseless. This article questions the socius as space of replication, a source of hope in dealing with these problems that addressing the other will accompany in the treatment of subjective failings. It shows how the provision for “supported accommodation” functions with adolescents and gets to work on personal development going again, able as it is to rely on a “psycho-educational” team. |
