520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Families and hiv. From stigmatisation to normalisation ?The present article first recounts the history of hiv-positive patients’ access to parenthood since the start of the epidemic before going on to describe a number of specific family situations. The issue common to these different contexts is the pervading sense of secrecy and shame relating to hiv contamination that seeps into the relation between parents and children. The article seeks to analyse the dual defensive and organisational functions operating within the family. |
