Summary, etc. | Le rejet actuel de la psychanalyse dans les traitements d’enfants autistes s’explique en partie par une erreur de considération clinique au sujet de la place des parents. Dans ce contexte, les auteurs, impliqués dans un dispositif thérapeutique de soin et d’éducation au Brésil, proposent une discussion quant aux repères théoriques qui sous-tendent le fonctionnement de Lugar de Vida. Dans ladite Educação Terapêutica (éducation à visée thérapeutique), le rôle des parents est complètement reformulé. Il ne s’agit plus d’interpréter leur culpabilité dans l’éclosion de l’autisme de leurs enfants, ni de les conseiller techniquement pour en faire des assistants dans des programmes comportementaux, mais de relancer le dialogue inhérent à l’espace transitionnel entre parents et enfant à même de produire des effets aussi bien thérapeutiques qu’éducatifs. |

Summary, etc. | Part of the current rejection of psychoanalysis in the treatment of autistic children can be attributed to an error in the clinical consideration of the parents’ role. The authors seek to open up discussion on the theoretical points of reference underpinning the running of a therapeutic scheme for care and education where they work known as Lugar de Vida (Brazil). In what they refer to as Therapeutic Education, the role of the parents is completely redefined. The very idea of interpreting their supposed responsibility in the emergence of autism in their offspring is rejected, as also the provision of technical advice so they can assist in behavioural programmes, in favour of boosting the dialogue inherent to the transitional space between the parents and the child as likely to lead to both therapeutic and educational benefits. |
