| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’expérience adoptive touche au fondement même de ce qui nous lie les uns aux autres. Elle sonde les racines du lien de filiation, en en interrogeant la nature. À l’évidence des liens qui paraissent naturels, les liens du sang, l’adoption oppose la fragilité d’un lien de mutualité. Par là, plutôt qu’être un lien parental par défaut, le lien adoptif éclaire tout lien parental : si l’engendrement est de nature, la parenté est de désignation. Devenant le prototype du parental, le lien adoptif affirme alors qu’il n’y a pas de naissance qui n’attende sa reconnaissance. |

| Summary, etc. | Poor parent or fragile parent ?The adoptive experience touches the very core of what links us to one another. It sounds out the roots of the filiation link by questioning its nature. To the obviousness of natural-looking links, the blood links, the adoption opposes the fragility of a mutuality link. Thus, rather than being a parental link by default, the adoptive link throws light on any parental link : if the begetting is by nature, the relationship is by designation. Becoming the prototype of the parental, the adoptive link then asserts that there is no birth that does not await its recognition. |

A los vínculos de sangre, que parecen naturales, la adopción opone la fragilidad de un vínculo de mutualidad. Por ello, antes que ser un vínculo por defecto, el vínculo adoptivo aclara todo vínculo parental : si el engendrar es natural, el parentesco es designación. Transformándose en prototipo de lo parental, el vínculo adoptivo afirma entonces que no hay nacimiento que no espere su reconocimiento. |
