| Summary, etc. | À partir de trois cas cliniques, les auteurs montrent que la mise en avant par le sujet d’une étiologie génétique de son état dépressif a une fonction subjective et alimente un fantasme de transmission. Alors que rien n’a été prouvé concernant des facteurs génétiques dans l’étiologie de la dépression, les auteurs constatent que de nombreux dépressifs utilisent l’hérédité comme justification. Comme le suggérait Freud, il ne s’agit pas juste d’hériter mais de savoir comment on utilise cet héritage et à quelles fins. La dimension défensive « d’innocentation » est toujours présente, alimentée par l’argument génétique. Promouvoir la part héréditaire autorise avant tout à se désubjectiver par rapport à cet état. Paradoxalement, cela peut permettre aussi de se l’approprier et de le reconnaître comme sien. Enfin, s’inscrire dans cet héritage, peut faire accéder au groupe familial. |

| Summary, etc. | Depression as an Inheritance This paper, based on three clinical cases of patients hospitalized in a public psychiatry ward, shows that the highlighting of a genetic etiology of his/her depressive state by the subject has a subjective function and feeds a transmission fantasy. Even though nothing was proved regarding genetic factor in depression’s etiology, the authors notice that many depressed persons use heredity as a scientific explanation of their state. As Freud already suggested, it is not all just about inheritance, but knowing how to use this inheritance and for what purposes. The defensive dimension of “innocenting” seems to remain present, fed by the genetic argument and its exposure. Featuring the genetic involvement of the depressed state mainly enables to desubjectivize in relation to this state. Paradoxically, it can also enable to take it over and recognize it as a part of oneself, thus avoiding a feeling of disturbing strangeness. |

| Summary, etc. | Los autores se refieren a tres casos clínicos que muestran que el énfasis que se pone en la etiología genética de su estado depresivo tiene una función subjetiva y alimenta sus fantasías de transmisión. Teniendo en cuenta que nada se probó con respecto a los factores genéticos en la etiología de la depresión, se puede constatar que numerosos depresivos utilizan el aspecto hereditario como justificación. Como lo sugirió Freud, no se trata sólo de heredar sino de saber cómo y con qué propósito se utiliza esta herencia. El aspecto defensivo de “como para inocentarse” está presente y sustentado por el argumento genético. Promover la parte hereditaria de la depresión autoriza antes que nada a “desubjetivarse” (a negar el aspecto subjetivo inherente al estado de depresión). Paradójicamente, el hecho de favorecer el aspecto genético permite apropiárselo y reconocerlo como suyo. Por último, inscribirse en esta herencia puede hacer acceder al grupo familiar. |
