| Summary, etc. | Les humains ignorent ce que l’avenir leur réserve. Tout pronostic est voué à l’échec. Pourtant ils n’arrêtent pas de vouloir prévoir ce qui va se passer ; les familles encore plus et de manière singulière, car elles se sentent obligées de préparer le devenir de leurs enfants afin qu’ils s’adaptent et progressent. Elles paraissent même veiller à les rendre ambitieux pour qu’ils acquièrent la force d’avancer et de ne jamais fléchir dans leur détermination d’atteindre les buts programmés. Il s’agit de tentatives défensives face à l’angoisse d’un futur imprévisible. Elles peuvent se renforcer en pensant aux précédents malheureux, ou interprétés comme tels, lors des générations antérieures. Mais elles sont nécessaires pour calmer les inquiétudes et plus encore pour construire une ligne identificatoire, un fil rouge depuis le legs ancestral jusqu’aux temps à venir. Pour mieux cerner ce trait universel, l’auteur se penche, clinique à l’appui, sur certaines productions de l’inconscient groupal de la famille : l’anticipation, l’idéal du moi familial, les idéaux, l’idéalisation, l’angoisse du futur. Il situe également leurs rapports avec des concepts comme le moi-idéal, le soi familial et le mythe familial. |

| Summary, etc. | Our issues with the futureHuman beings don’t know what the future has in store for them. Any prediction is bound to fail. However, they never stop wanting to know what will be ; even more so in families, and this in a singular way, because they feel obliged to prepare how their children will grow, how they can adjust and progress. The families even seem to ensure their children are ambitious so that they acquire the strength to go forward without ever faltering in their purpose to reach the programmed goals. However, these preventions are nothing but defensive attempts to deflect anxiety caused by an unforeseeable future. They can be reinforced when thinking of previous generations’ unfortunate events, or events interpreted as being unfortunate. But these preventions are necessary to calm worries and even more so to build an identifying line, a key thread from ancestral inheritance to times to come. So as to better understand this universal trait, the author looks into, with clinical evidence to support this, some productions of the family’s group unconscious : foresight, the family’s ego-ideal, ideals, idealization, and anxiety towards the future. He also places these productions’ links with concepts such as ego-ideal, family-self and family myth. |

| Summary, etc. | Los humanos ignoran lo que el futuro les depara. Cualquier pronóstico está condenado al fracaso. Sin embargo, no dejan de querer anticipar lo que ocurrirá. Las familias aún más y de manera singular, porque se sienten obligadas a preparar el futuro de sus hijos para que se adapten y progresen. Incluso parecen ocuparse con el fin de hacerlos ambiciosos para que ganen en fuerza para avanzar y nunca vacilar en su determinación de alcanzar los objetivos programados. No obstante, estas prevenciones son sólo intentos defensivos frente a la angustia de un futuro impredecible. Pueden encontrar apoyo pensando en los precedentes desdichados en las generaciones anteriores o interpretados como tales. Pero estas prevenciones son necesarias para calmar las preocupaciones y aún más para construir una línea identificable, un hilo rojo desde el legado ancestral hasta los tiempos venideros. Para entender mejor este rasgo universal, el autor se consagra, apoyado en su clínica, a ciertas producciones del inconsciente grupal de la familia : la anticipación, el ideal del yo familiar, los ideales, la idealización, la angustia del futuro. También sitúa sus relaciones con conceptos como el yo ideal, el self familiar y el mito de la familia. |
