| Summary, etc. | Alors que la comparaison internationale met en avant des tendances contrastées concernant l’accélération dans les tribunaux pénaux, la « procédure particulièrement accélérée » en Allemagne se distingue par la faible pression temporelle qui s’exerce sur les travailleur·euses de la justice. À partir de l’observation des coulisses d’un tribunal berlinois dans le cadre d’une enquête ethnographique, les différentes formes et modalités de l’accélération sont présentées afin de déterminer à quelles conditions l’accélération d’une procédure ne signifie pas intensification du travail. Une attention sera portée aux différents rapports subjectifs au temps des travailleur·euses et à la manière dont ils et elles mobilisent les temporalités du droit pour ne pas subir l’urgence. Cela permet aux juges de maintenir un contrôle sur les affaires qui leur sont soumises et d’éviter une logique gestionnaire de maîtrise des flux. |

| Summary, etc. | International comparisons show contrasting trends of acceleration in criminal courts. The “particularly accelerated procedure” in Germany is characterized by the low time pressure on court workers. The observation of the backstage of a Berlin court in an ethnographic survey reveals the different forms and modalities of acceleration. We study how they relate to one another in order to determine under which conditions the acceleration of a procedure does not translate to any intensification of work. We draw attention to workers’ subjective relationships to time and how workers mobilize the temporalities of the law in order not to be subjected to urgency. This enables judges to maintain control over the cases submitted to them and to avoid a managerial logic of flow control. |
