| Summary, etc. | Cet article explore les contours, les usages, les enjeux et les objectifs des pratiques de « non-mixité » ou de « mixité choisie » dans les luttes féministes, pour interroger les critiques d’essentialisme, de séparatisme et de discrimination dont elles ont pu faire l’objet. Après un rapide aperçu historique de pratiques de non-mixité permettant de comprendre l’héritage dans lequel s’inscrit aujourd’hui la mixité choisie, nous montrons que cette pratique, plus qu’un simple mode d’organisation, constitue un outil de politisation qui requiert débat et apprentissage et met les luttes féministes en mouvement. |

| Summary, etc. | This text explores the contours, uses, issues, and objectives of “non-mixing” or “chosen mixing” practices in feminist struggles, to question the criticisms of essentialism, separatism, and discrimination to which they may be subjected. After a brief historical overview of non-mixing practices, enabling us to overcome preconceived ideas and to understand the legacy of today’s “chosen mixing,” we show that this practice, more than a simple mode of organization, constitutes a tool for politicization that requires debate and learning, and sets feminist struggles in motion. |
