| Summary, etc. | La compréhension de l’élimination d’une population est généralement envisagée comme résultant d’un plan intentionnel, «d’en haut», coordonné par une série d’institutions étatiques et constituant alors le crime et le paradigme de génocide. Cette perspective, héritage des études traitant l’Holocauste, est ici pondérée dans le contexte du nettoyage ethnique de Bosnie-Herzégovine entre 1992 et 1995 par une approche de réseau et une perspective de «terroir» qui tiennent à la fois compte d’un redéploiement du pouvoir de coercition sur une multitude de gens armés et des dynamiques locales animant les exécutants. Par isomorphisme, ces approches peuvent alimenter la réflexion sur le processus de justice de transition. |

| Summary, etc. | Studies on mass extermination, after the Holocaust, stress the importance of such violence as an intentional well-coordinated plan from «above», through a series of state institutions, thus endowing the paradigm and crime of genocide. Rather, and taking into account the redistribution of the use of force that occurred in the Bosnian ethnic cleansing, we propose that mass violence has to be considered through a double approach based both on networking, to include non-state actors, and on a «grass-root stand point, which stresses the executioner’s perspective. Finally, and based on isomorphism, we show how such a perspective may fuel reflection on the transitional justice issue. |

| Summary, etc. | Massentötungen von Bevölkerungsgruppen werden im Allgemeinen als Ergebnis eines Plans «von oben» verstanden, der über eine Serie von staatlichen Institutionen koordiniert wird. Diese Perspektive, die das Paradigma des Genozids konstituiert, ist ein Erbe der Holocaust-Forschung. Im Kontext der Untersuchung von «ethnischen Säuberungen» in Bosnien-Herzegowina zwischen 1992 und 1995 wird dieses Paradigma insofern modifiziert als die Bedeutung von Netzwerken und eine Perspektive «von unten» betont wird. Dabei spielen einerseits Umstrukturierungen von Macht und Zwang auf nicht-staatliche bewaffnete Gruppen und andererseits lokale Dynamiken, die die Ausführenden antreiben, eine zentrale Rolle. Schließlich können über einen Isomorophismus aus dieser Perspektive Schlüsse für die Entwicklung der Wiederherstellung von Gerechtigkeit abgeleitet werden. |
