Il montre que l’introduction de ces dispositifs favorise un contrôle accru des agendas locaux par les dirigeants policiers. Ce processus d’intégration organisationnelle a cependant des limites fortes : les policiers du rang développent des stratégies pour préserver leurs marges d’initiative et d’autonomie. |

| Summary, etc. | Breaking with critical approaches which analyse the construction of performance indicators, this paper deals with the effects of these instruments on the steering capacities of police organizations and public security policies. In police organizations, performance indicators reinforce the power of the hierarchy. However, this process of organizational integration has important limits : in response to this increased pressure, the rank and file develop strategies to guard their autonomy jealously. |

Es wird gezeigt, dass die Einführung von Leistungsindikatoren eine steigende Kontrolle der lokalen Polizeiorganisationen durch die Polizeileitung bedeutet. Aller-dings hat diese organisatorische Integration deutliche Grenzen : die lokalen Polizeiakteure entwi-ckeln Strategien, um Räume für Initiative und Autonomie zu erhalten. |
