| Summary, etc. | This article seeks to analyse the recourse to experimentation by local authorities within the framework of their youth policies. What are the objectives of such experimentation ? How are they conceived ? What methods are applied ? The author examines the processes by which seven towns in the west of France envisage experimentation, through projects they have set up for young people in working-class districts. Experimentation is seen via three models that are essential frameworks for action : participative, procedural and breaking with previous practices. |
