| Summary, etc. | Les sources judiciaires de l’Italie de l’époque moderne mettent en lumière des actes pédocriminels perpétrés par des religieux. Après avoir reconstitué le cadre historique et juridique dans lequel s’inscrivent ces délits et après avoir analysé quelques écrits de criminalistes de la période, l’article s’intéresse plus particulièrement à la documentation du tribunal du Torrone à Bologne et de la nonciature de Turin. L’étude de quelques cas traités par ces tribunaux permet d’observer l’extrême violence subie par des enfants très jeunes, énoncée dans toute sa brutalité, et l’impunité récurrente due au statut de clerc et d’éducateur des accusés. |

| Summary, etc. | Legal sources in Italy in the early modern period cast light on criminal sexual offences against children committed by members of the clergy. After outlining the historical and legal context in which the offences occurred, this article will concentrate in particular on the documents relating to the Tribunal del Torrone in Bologna and the nunziatura of Turin. The study of several cases handled by these courts reveals the extreme violence undergone by very young children which was reported in all its brutal detail, as well as the impunity with which the offenders were habitually treated as a result of their status as clerics and teachers. |
