520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Preserving the relations between parents and children when the latter are cared for in substitute family structures (specialized homes, family placement, etc.) requires the provision of suitable arrangements and practices. Experiments have been underway for about ten years, particularly since the law of March 5, 2007, reforming child protection, which advocates diversification of the modes of care provision and educative assistance with a view to preserving family ties in situations of child placement. We will present the results of a research study on an innovative arrangement which consists, within the context of the issue of visiting rights and providing accommodation for parents separated from their child(ren), in putting apartments at the disposal of parents without resources and accompanying them during meetings with their child(ren).
