Summary, etc. A peer group of voice hearers (VHs) represents a time for pause that allows each person to express the subjective reality of what they experience and feel in a deeply singular way. It is a moment of mutual listening that makes it possible to share the experience of hearing voices—by nature a priori intrinsically unshared. To understand the subjective reality of participants in this type of group, we propose to look back at the results of research using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA, Smith et al. 2009). Using a method rooted in psychophenomenology, our article aims to illustrate the experience of VHs and that of a VH peer group of four participants, with a view to demystifying the phenomenon and better understanding the processes inherent in this type of collective functioning.
