On the basis of psychotherapy in treating a psychotic adult patient in a day hospital, the article explores three differentiated but related registers of that patient’s problems: the transferential dynamic, the family environment and the healing institution. Reference to the works of W. Bion allows concepts of confusion and projective identification to be illustrated. |
