520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Trans-cultural consultations for migrants were founded in France in the 1980s, referring to ethnopsychanalysis and family therapies. The patient is received with his family by a group of therapists from different cultures. The group of therapists offers both a group and a cultural shell promoting the therapeutic alliance. The cultural diversity of therapists allows to accommodate traditional etiologies involving invisible entities, ancestors, geniuses, sorcery. These are powerful levers, which yield narratives of family history and feature transmission of traumatic elements difficult to tackle. The mechanisms of psychic transmission are primarily within the projective identification. They are analysed through the history of a migrant family cared for in a transcultural consultation.
