Summary, etc. “The burglary – breaking into the family envelope.” This research suggests a new approach to assessing family trauma among families who experienced a break-in at home. Using a new mediating tool they call “the wounded house” alongside the projective test of the dream house, the authors evaluated the families’graphic productions and verbatim. Their aim is to highlight the family difficulties related to the trauma, the inherent anxieties of such attacks, the defense mechanisms, and the family resilience capacities.
