520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Traditionally lacking any managerial rationality, the judicial institution is nowadays increasingly sensitive to notions of cost, efficiency, and quality of production. This is explained notably by the incorporation of justice into the transformation of public policy through obligations of accountability and changes in legitimacy and by factors specific to the judicial institution, which has faced a strong increase in demand and whose activity is increasingly influenced by the production of juridical and managerial standards at the European and international level. Above all, the introduction of managerial rationality reflects increased technicality in debates concerning justice and to the euphemizing of their political dimension.
