| Summary, etc. | I am a psychologist, working in a Centre départemental de l’enfance et de la famille (CDEF) (Departmental Child and Family Centre) in a service that offers provisional shelter for migrant minors who have been directed by the Aide sociale à l’enfance. Most of these unaccompanied minors are orphans and are polytraumatized. Working from portraits of these young people, we interrogate the conditions in which they meet with clinicians in the specific context of temporary shelter. We try to bring out the emergence of a subjective language, and the sometimes burning trace of traumatic journeys that have yet to be described. |
