| Summary, etc. | Immediately after the announcement of the generalized lockdown in France, the children of working class areas and their families were obliged to stay at home. Many of these families saw this measure as a powerful revelation of the suffering they already endured: ordeals connected with their exile, their itineraries of existence and their undignified housing conditions. In the Dionysian territories of the French department 93, the lockdown generated multiple effects fluctuating between amplified disarray and states of panic, tinged with phobia for some of the adults. This situation crystallized, in their children, hyper-motor reactions and persistent demands with a need for increased dependence on adults. Everyone was subject to an increasing experience of tension, in isolation, over the course of the lockdown. |
