Summary, etc. In the last three decades, in North America, Western Europe and Israel, the Jubus (Jewish-Buddhists) are the promoters of a genuine spiritual symbiosis. Based upon first-hand ethnography and second hand documentary material, this paper highlights the cultural and religious intermingling between Buddhism and Judaism, and its results: spiritual cobbling, conversion, or reconversion (to Judaism), and finally questions the endurance of this “Buddhized Judaism”.
