This paper, based on interviews and observations conducted in several Turkish cities, studies the characteristics of this mode of sociability. After studying its social, psychological, economic and religious aspects, this paper focuses on its reticular dimension and shows its importance in the constitution, extension and mobilization of everyone’s social network. |
