Summary, etc. The article presents three different types of research on depression. The first one,which considers depression as the rupture of an attachment bond (Bowlby), invites usto develop a position promoting a new and more secure attachment bond andrelationship. The second one, based on affective neuroscience, incites us to work onre-mentalization and repair of a broken and lost relationship with the goal ofinteriorizing a healthier bond. Thirdly, mindfulness, which prevents relapses bydeveloping one’s ability to take a step back and regulate one's emotions on a dailybasis.
