Summary, etc. | For Hartmut Rosa, the societal acceleration of our pace of life is leading us into forms of alienation. Deep relaxation can be the first step towards returning to the center of ourselves. Two examples illustrate that in the long term, awareness of an intimate homeostatic equilibrium between perceptions of the relationship to time as chronos and kaeros is established. This can be brought about by the conscious practice of very simple movements such as walking. At a time of crisis in our society, this is a way of allying ourselves with time for greater inner freedom. |
