Summary, etc. This article analyzes the relationship between organizational justice and the satisfaction of basic psychological needs at work. It establishes the relationships between the different forms of justice and the satisfaction of basic needs as defined by self-determination theory. The results, derived from regression analyses on a sample of 453 employees, show that the dimensions of organizational justice are positively associated with the satisfaction of needs. However, their degree of association varies significantly. It depends on the type of need that the employee has: need for autonomy, need for competence, or need for relatedness. Thus, this research led to the observation that management practices based on justice are indeed necessary for the satisfaction of basic needs, but some types of justice seem to have a greater explanatory power than others.
