Summary, etc. The study of Reunion media allow a heuristic approach in the survey of both native and official languages, Creole and French. This article aims at expounding how Reunion media have always, all along their short history, been deliberately committed in societal questions, all the more controversial as they would rise statutory and political issues.The second part of the article deals with a gradual evolution in the use made by Reunion media, more especially by radio and TV, of French and creole, to the benefit of the latter, thus contributing to improve the situation of diglossia which has prevailed so far in Reunion society.
