520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. During the 1919-1939, many writers and critics think about the representation of popular language in the modern novel, and their political consequences. Not only about the popular characters, not only about the dialogues, but also about the techniques of narrative transposition of orality. Many solutions exist, and create violent debates between the critics and the writers. For example, Giono, Ramuz, Queneau or Cendrars use forms of oralisation in their narration. L.F. Celine is the most famous of these writers, because of the success of “Travel to the end of Night” (1932).
