520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This article presents the results of studies on representations of the strategic relationship between Brazil and China as analyzed using the discourse of Brazilian government members belonging to the Workers’ Party from 2003 to 2015. Analysis of the presidential speeches of Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff shows continuity in their representations of relationships between the two countries. In this article, we compare their speeches with those of diplomats who served in Beijing during their terms of office. While to government members, this bilateral relationship is founded on socio-economic identification between the two countries, diplomats ascribe it to China’s politico-economic vision.
